So, I am easing my way back into my work. Last night was my first public speaking appearance since Robert's death. It went great, but I suppose I cheated a bit as it was a panel discussion with the rest of my blue rose girls. It's easy to perform when your friends are there to watch your back.

I agree that it's easy to do well when your friends are watching your back and sitting right next to you: I kept saying after it was over that it was "easy" for me to talk in public. On the way home I realized that yes, it was easy Wednesday night, because all of you were there. Had I been by myself it wouldn't have been!
As it was, though, it was FUN.
